Men's League Baseball Announces Two New Sponsors
Men's League Baseball is pleased to announce two new sponsors
for the upcoming 2007 season. The Fraternal Order of Eagles
(FOE) Aerie #3032 and Finnegan's Wake have generously offered
their support for the upcoming season, and will provide a
fresh look to the league with brand new uniforms and names
for teams. "We couldn't be happier with our two new sponsors"
said Jeff Young, Men's League Baseball Spokesperson. "Both
are well known for their contributions to our community, and
their support of Men's League Baseball once again proves that
level of commitment".
Tom Shypitka, owner of Finnegan's Wake, was happy to support
the League."Like everybody else, I love the tradition
of baseball, and I was happy to support Men's League Baseball
in anyway that I could. I'm looking forward to the Finnegan's
Wake team competing for the league championship at the end
of the season!”
It's looking to be a great year for Men's League Baseball,
and I'm happy that the Fraternal Order of Eagles can be a
part of it" said Terry Damant, Charity Chairman of the
Fraternal Order of Eagles. "The league is very inclusive,
and provides a place to play for men as young as 16. Our sponsorship
of a team fits nicely with our desire to support our communities,
and we know that the players will represent our organization
with pride and integrity".
With Kimberley once again having an entry in Men's League
Baseball, it is shaping up to be a very exciting and competitive
season. Exhibition games are slated to start in April, with
the regular season beginning in May. If there are any potential
players that would like to play in the upcoming season, they
can start taking part in the indoor training sessions that
are already underway. Please visit our web site www.kootenaybaseball.com
